Our Urban Design Element is the Framework
In the field of giving, the philanthropy catalogue concept is relatively new. We've taken this innovation a step further by focusing our catalogue on urban design - a first in the United States. Our 22 projects spring from the City of Omaha's Urban Design Element, a planning tool aimed at creating a better Omaha. They fall under three categories: Green Omaha, Civic Omaha and Neighborhood Omaha. They also come in two types: specific projects and the development of master plans to address unmet needs. Entries were selected based upon their ability to bring the goals of the Urban Design Element to life.
